In A Dream

In the midst of a dream I awoke to find.
You were there in the back of my mind.
Controlling my thoughts all of the time.
Release all my dreams they will be fine.

You are not the only one from my past.
Who my dreams I wished would've last.
Don't think you have complete control.
You don't own my love now you know.

It is not yours forever have and to hold.
Had it once then you let everything go.
I'll never again give you all of my love.
While I'm a Christian, loving God above.
