I'm afraid to want and never have,
I'm afraid to have but never need,
I'm afraid to love,
I'm afraid to die,
I'm afraid to cry,
I'm afraid to fail,
I'm even afraid to be alone.
I'm afraid to be happy and laugh,
I'm afraid to be sad,
I'm afraid my world will crumble,
I'm afraid to fall.
I'm afraid to go to hell,
I'm even more afraid to go to heaven.
I'm afraid of not living,
I'm afraid death will creep and take away what I hold most dear.
I'm afraid of my dreams,
But I'm more afraid of the man in my nightmares.....
I'm afraid the man will get me,
I'm afraid the man will hurt me.
I'm afraid to see him,
I'm afraid to hear his creepy laugh,
I'm afraid he's come from hell.
The man taunts me and never leaves.
The man is with me when I sleep,
The man is with me when I'm awake.
I can feel the man watch me with his evil eyes,
I can feel the man get ready to take me.
I still see the man's face in the back of my head.
I wish he would leave and never come back.
