Faulty Friendships

Friends, no matter what, are supposed to always to be there,
they should be there to listen to your worries,
they should show how much they care,
not having to constantly say they are sorry.

Friends, no matter what, are supposed to be for life,
they should be there to make sure you have fun,
not stab you, when your back is turned, with a knife,
and not wait a year to say sorry for what they have done.

Friends, no matter what, are supposed to make you feel better,
they should be there to believe you over others,
not turn their backs after reading a stupid letter,
and not when they don't approve of your lovers.

Friends, no matter what, are supposed to be trustworthy,
they should be there to comfort you when things are bad,
not make your life even more topsy-turvy,
and not make you feel THIS sad!
