Believe it or not this really is National Math Month. So how do you get kids to like math? |
| Let’s Enjoy Math! My students complained about their math. So here’s the way that I tried to curb their wrath. What is the time that is the end of school? How many gallons are there in a swimming pool? How many small pizzas can you buy with ten dollars? Which of two students here is 3 inches taller? How many miles is the distance to the moon? How many days of vacation to you have in June? How many eggs are in two dozen? What is the temperature of a very hot oven? Who has the most freckles on their face? How many students can win a hopping race? I know this is easy but as you can see. Math is very useful for you and me! Happy Mathematics Month. |
