Peace is Every Where

(You just have to look)

Mid 80’s

Everyone looks for it,

Very few find it,

Some think they found it,

Only to find that they haven’t.,

It’s there if you look,

You just have to see,

That in working toward peace,

You must work from within.

Peace is in everyone,

Most fail to see,

That peace is everywhere,

Yet nowhere to be seen.

I know of my peace,

I know when I’ll find it,

I know I won’t have it,

Till my work is done.

When I’ve helped all I can,

To show others the way,

When I’ve taught them to love,

Love everyone, every day.

When peace comes to everyone,

Old and young alike,

When countries no longer fight each other,

And bring together strife.

When all this is done,

With nothing else to do,

When this is done,

Then peace will find me too.
