Beautiful home
More than twenty years ago
We left our nest
Now one by one we return
Singing, rejoicing in the sun

Alas, in our midst
Are proud, ungrateful ones
This nest they destroy
They ravage and they spoil

More than twenty hours a day
You sweat and toil
You laid the bricks
You tilled the soil

Amidst your laughter
Tears pitter-patter
Our home was wrecked
Dilapidated and cracked

Less than twenty hours ago
You rebuilt as you pant
You repaired and you mend
Our home must stand

We do not bend
From sources within or without
United we can
Rejuvenate our home again.
