From Friends to Lovers

I guess what I felt before wasn't quite real,
Because nothing compares to this love that I feel.
We became such good friends when we met,
From then I guess is when God had his mind set
It is quite unfortunate for those that are feeling the other end of the stick,
But now more than ever we are solid like a brick.
It wasn't something that was planned it just gradually got there,
The time came when we put both our hands in with no fear.
We went with what we felt and was right,
But in the process others had a different sight.
They saw their future and its just unfortunate it never went that way,
But it wasn't out of spite nor greed I just have to say.
Cause...
Heartbreak I wish on no one not even my worst enemy,
But I just wish they could see
See what we are and what we've become and just accept it and move on.
But we will continue on the path we have set,
And in the future reap the rewards we will get!
