An arrogant poem about being driven to write because of others unknown to me |
-Concentrated Power of Will- by Keaton Foster I know I see I feel I believe I was born I will die Living life Fractions of time Crudely combined Within our shared Existence I have much to do Everything left There can be Nothing less Then what I wish It all Every ounce Every bit Everything Must be achieved Not only because Of my beliefs But because of the beliefs Of others just like me Should all of you Understand Do you Could you Would you ever The answer Not required Your quantifiable stance Concerns me less and less I won’t stop I will only continue But be assured To reinsert your role Live your life knowing that My concentrated power of will Is at times nearly nil I must borrow from you Stranger turned danger What you have What you posses Is more than enough To justify a continuance Of what I so deeply love I will only take What I need from you Without regret Not an ounce in jest I will use it well Honoring your hell Demystifying your spell If this was a race I’m gonna win On the backs of others Those who never began I will fight each battle Winning every war Kicking ass and taking names And if need planting a few graves Conquering the world is my plan Only then will I stand Upon the mountain top Knowing that those below Have forced me to grow Have allowed me to climb To a height thought impossible I will scream every name I will praise each tedious detail I will honor those unable to climb My concentrated power of will Will then be spilled Down upon them Down upon those who That for a time unwillingly gave me What I needed to have to get there To place of time honored peace And tranquil release When I have had my fill When I have had enough I will step from the mountain top Falling back down to the depths From which I came To which I truly belong Leaving such a peak empty For those just as close To experience their own turn At such equal footing… Concentrated Power of Will Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2013 |
