Living without acceptance can make you strong, but of course wanting it is natural.
Dear God,

Take away what you must,
the things that I love.
And in time my life,
the very breath from my lungs.

Take away the mountains,
send the rain back to the sky.
Callous my hands,
take the vision from my eyes.

For now though please bless me,
allow me her hand.
Love me and cherish me,
accept who I am.

You made me the woman,
I am today.
Just allow me to live,
and allow me a place.

I live through you,
our hearts beat as one.
I take on your challenges,
and succeed in your lessons.

I pass on your word,
I don't judge your creations.
I inspire strength,
and anything else in relation.

I am here for others,
as you are for me.
When the world gets cold,
I provide it with heat.

I'd give all that I am,
to those you select.
Whether or not,
I receive their respect.

What I'm trying to say,
is I've never failed you.
So please give me your blessing,
to live out my truth.
