America, my Homeland

    Well Mother, it looks like another wet-dry day.
I see that rain is again in the forecast. When will it
ever stop? We already have enough rain now. When I go
outside, the water is up to my knees.
    We have no control over the rain that falls from
heaven It does so much good in some parts of the country.
In other parts, they are hurting.
    Rivers and streams are drying up. While other rivers
and streams are overflowing because of all the water that
they are getting.
    People just shake their heads in wonder at all of
the rain they are getting. As the rain continues to fall,
they wonder where they will put all of the water?
      Why is this happening? Is it just fate?
Is it a sign that the end is coming or just mother nature
at work?
      If it is a sign from God, what would He be trying to
tell Americans? Have Americans become sluggish about their
faith. They could take it or leave it depending on what is
going on in their life.
      America, where is its heart and soul?
Where is the spirit that made America great? Does America
still have it? What has happened to it? Are some just being
patient, just biding their time until the time is right?
      America is a great country, but is it in need of an
overhaul that will cleanse its soul:
      What are Americans sowing their seeds in?
How are the seeds being watered and cared for?
      Is America in need of a great healing that will cleanse
its soul of the evil lurking in this great land?
    Are Christians today in need of healing? What have they
placed their faith in? How are they watering and caring for
the seeds that they have been trusted with?
    America the land of plenty. What would happen if some
got together in prayer? How might America change and grow?
