A little poem I made about the tragic song "Servant of evil". |
We are but twins in the hands of fate the grownups our future would dictate You are to be queen At the tender age of fourteen I am chosen as your servant For only I think of you as exuberant The commoners hate you And no noble will you woo Resisting your control or not Any fighting will be for naught For however it all plays out feed your greed they shall without doubt I saw the queen of our neighboring country Her beauty making me sultry Even so, her betrothed is the only person you have never loathed You want him for yourself And I shall see to that myself Her life shall be taken To sleep and never awaken I am here to serve only you By killing her I’ll make your love true We are but twins in the hands of fate And all your worries I shall alleviate Enraged by my deed A revolutionary leader mounted her steed Destroying the castle gate they swarmed in, wanting to seal our fate I told you to run away from here Their voices I could already hear I took your extravagant clothes But you froze I shall take your punishment Your death I shall prevent With tears in your eyes You took a hood for a disguise I am now the queen Soon to never again be seen For the enraged commoners are here To make me forever disappear At three o’clock My cell shall unlock My head from my body they shall sever For stopping your death is all I endeavor Someone is running through the crowd Stopping in front of me wearing a shroud I see you in front of me crying Wanting to hinder me from dying But it is to late This is my fate I can hear the blade swinging And I have barely time to see you cringing But I smile at you Knowing we’ll sometime meet anew We are but twins in the hands of fate And a new life you will create Till we meet again Where there is no pain |
