A general thought of the person who made a big impact in my college life. |
-When It Rains- By: -R- Looking up at the dark sky. I always stop and try To relieve and think of the past Those that have always outlast The most unforgettable of that treat, Was the time I got to meet, With a girl who’s discreet, Pleasant, nice, and sweet She was a simple gal, Cute, elegant, et al With a face that makes you cool down, She’s a nice person to be around Her presence stuns anyone, She’s loved for a reason Her mild, generous tone Is as precious as a gemstone Those traits of her has swooned, This heart of mine, so conditioned And so I waited, patiently To tell her my feelings sincerely As I thought of those moments, I felt there were droplets And a sudden burst of rain Left me in constrain That downpour made me recollect Of the day I take effect My plan of telling my impressions That all led to depression The time came all so sudden And I felt a big burden How to tell her was no trouble Until my mind, when seeing her, jumbled She came near full of light And I felt an urge to fight But soon my mind was all on her sight And I said to myself, “It’ll be alright.” Then I started to confess All the things you did, I professed How she made an impact on me, I stressed All these I said with boldness You then said, “It’s not right.” Our feelings are like black and white My hand was melting like the candlelight My sight was as dim as a lamplight A thunderstorm made its way Having a downpour of rain Blocking out the sun ray Never to be seen again That’s when teardrops fell And hearing the sound of a bell, I forced myself to tell “I would think of this as farewell” All my joy and pain, All that I have lost and gain, All those that were contained, All comes out when it rains |
