Rest
One day she said she was tired and needed a rest

It was from all her Praying ,pleading, and trying her best

And as hard as mom tried we knew it was true

But her hopes had dwindled and the Lord had left her too

The only time she could find peace was when she would sleep

Other than those times she was rather pitiful and weak

A sad and sorry example we have in this mother of ours

But how she does love us and only longs to hold us in her arms
