A poem about being obedient to God. |
| The Task At Hand A poem about being obedient to God. Edited by Livingston County Writers & Critics Support Group God made the flowers; he made the rain The sun, the moon, and everything He gave us breath that we may live A plan, a purpose; a life to give He is our guide; he laid the path He gave us directions; a hope that lasts When we fall, he picks us up Sometimes we drink that bitter cup My life without him, I can’t endure I need his help; he is the cure So when you are in doubt remember to see That life on earth not always will be When I am in trouble I know to go To one who cares; my head bowed low Each time I wonder, each time I stray He tugs at my heart, he asks me to stay I walk in his footsteps to help man see That God is the answer whatever the task may be Word count: 145 |
