Dark Waters

I don't know if i should do this. As I look down in to the churning waters below i decide if i made the right choice. I know Alex thinks that this is best for me but I am sure that I am making the right choice. As I jump of the cliff in to the darkened waters below I regret it but I am proud that I did this.


Four mounths earlier.


"Yo, yo Sitara" Danny said as walked to me. "Hey Danny hows it going?" I said. "You walking to school with me or is your mom acully going to be nice today and drive us to school?" Danny said completely ignoring my question. " do you think the snot is going to drive us?"
" well no I was just asking"
" Ok good let's go"
Btw the snot is my mom if you didnt already figure that out. As soon as we get to school we are late as usal. I walk into S.S. as Mrs. Latte is talking about civil rights. " Sitera, you're late. Do you have an excuse for your self" She says in her cold, crackleish voice. "It's Sitara and no." I say coldly. "Alright then sit down and get your notes written. NOW!" I sit down and start to finsh my notes.

The day seems to last for ages but i was glad when the last bell rang. I thuoght i was gonna die of being board. Man I hate having math last period. I start to walk home knowing that Danny has detion because of cussing at our art teacher. I start toward my street when someone comes in my way about twenty feet ahead. I look closer and it is not someone I think it is something. I start sprinting the other way. I look behind me and it is following me. I run faster. I realized that I am running unhumanly fast. I look back again and the creature is gone. I stop and try to process what just happened. I start to walk towards my house when i notice that there has been two people that have been there the whole time. I start to sprint again when the two people sprint toward me and knock me down. There is a girl and a boy.I realize that the boy is Danny and the girl im not sure. " what the hell Danny get off me". I say. " you dont understand Sitara. You can't go home" Danny says. I am confused.Why did he say that what is going on? "Why not? " I end up saying. " we should get her to alex" the girl says softly. "What whos Alex?"They ignore me. "we really should get her to alex before she gets any thing else like her wings!" the girl says almost to softly to hear."Alright." Danny says. "Sitara, is the snot home?" Danny says. "No she doesnt get home for an hour." I say wonder just what the hell was going on. " Great. Sitara go and pack some stuff that you want to keep. You are not going there ever again." Danny says in astrong voice." Fine " i say and walk towards my house.
Once Im inside I grab some clothes and a few other things. I walk outside to see that Danny somehow got a car. But it could of been the girls car. "Is that all?" Danny asks looking surprised. " What? Is it too much?" I ask. I didnt think it was too much I only brought a little. " No its not that I just thought that most girls pack like everything" I am replused by what he just said. "Not all girls!" says me and the other girl at the same time. "Wow we have some thing alike" I say to the girl. " I never got your name" I say. "Im Max" she says. " Nice name" I say. " Nah, yours is more unique." she says. " Max, dont do this to me now." Danny says sternly." Whatever Danny lets just get going before any one else finds her" Max says. " Good point. C'mon let's go get in the car."
The car ride for today was very long. It was about 4 hours long. We didnt talk much, and they wouldnt even tell me what was going on. We stop in a walmart parking lot. " What are we doing here" I ask. " We are stopping for a cuople hours of sleep then we have to move on" Danny said. "Do you usaly do this?" I ask. " Why do you ask so many questions?" asks Max. " Well im just couris. Again,do you usaly do this?" I ask again. " No we usaly stop at a hotel but its to dangours to do that and this is even dangours just staying her for a couple hours." Max says. " Okay so can I sleep?" I say. " yup" Danny says. " Max you are going to gard for an hour then wake me up" Danny says. I can tell he is stressed because he is being demanding. I couldnt sleep so i decide to slip out of the car. It wont be hard because Danny and Max are in a deep talk outside. I slip out the door and run across the parking lot to a patch of grass. I lie in the grass and stare at the stars. I soon fall asleep.
I wake up to a start. I jump up as fast as i can. I'm not sure what woke me up, but I know that whatever it is it's not good. I start to sprint the same unhumanly fast I discovered when I was walking home. I soon realize the car isnt there. Then maybe they went to go look for me after I fell asleep. I dare to look behind me. Its some kind of monster with a long tail it looks like a lion but darker color and much bigger. I jump into the air and close my eyes. Then I open my eyes. I'm not sure its a dream but it's something because I'm in the air and I am not falling or anything like that I'm Flying. I decide the first thing I do is get the hell out of here. I fly for about twenty minutes till I find there car. I drop down like a rocket and land perfectly on the top of the car. I open the sun roof and jump in. " What the hell Sitara? You run off we go looking for you and then you just drop on top of the car and slide in and everything is giong to be okay????? " Danny says angerly. "Yup" I say paying no atteion to what he just said. "Wait did you just jump on the roof and slide into the car?" Danny asks seeming confused." Yup" Is all I mange to say. "How did you get on the roof?" Danny is ever more confused from the look on his face. " Will you ever catch on?" I am yelling now. " I can fly. you are so stupid to think that I dont know about all that crap you told Danny 'we should get her to alex before she gets her wings'" I am about to scream for the amount of anger i've held on to. "You think I never figured out that the snot wasn't my real mom?" I see Danny's face scrunch up with frustration. " Sitara you don't underst-" I cut him off. "No, you don't understand. Do you understand what its like? Let me think." I pause for a moment. "No you dont understand so stop lying and keeping secrets! I thought we were best friends!" I screem in frustration."We are Sitara." Danny says but looks away from me. "Then why are you keeping secrets and lying!" I scream at him. "Alright I will tell you everything I won't leave anything out." Danny says finaly giving in. "Ok. But you have to tell me everything." I say firmly. " Okay but this might be hard to believe" Danny said. I didn't know what he meant. I just flew into the car and slid through the sun window of the car. " Okay. Now tell me." I said. I wasn't ever able to hold still. " Okay. There are seven kingdoms beyond our relm" Danny started. " Woah wait a second you said you would tell me the truth and like whatever is going on. Not some fairytale" I said angerly. " No it is the truth you just have to listen. Please Sitara let me explain." he said. "Okay" I said giving in to his stupid fairytale. "Alright. So as I was saying in these seven kingdoms they each rule a special kind, graced, love, hope, beauty, dance, singing, and faith." Danny said with confidince. "The seven were very close, because well the kings were brothers. Well that was intill the king of the eighth kingdom decided that he was going to let them destroy themselfs. he turned the seven brothers against each other. It was the worst war they had ever seen. what makes these kings so specil is because they had powers. They called them jewlers. The jewlers soon relised what was going on." he countined. " they killed the other king and every thing went back to normal intill they lost one of the jewlers. Her name was Sitara"

I sat in the car with shock and fear. "Stop. I can't take this any more. I'm sorry but you have the wrong girl. so I have wings. I've had them for a while." I said stubbornly. Shock appered on both Max and on Dannys' faces."You've had your wings? Scince when?" Max asked. " I have had them for about a month. I have tried to fly but ended up on my ass." I said feeling a little bit embarssed. " Well i expected that" Danny said with a smug smile on his face. " Shut up. you would probably done the same thing" I said. "Acually it took him four years to even get off the ground so yes he was on his ass most of the time," Max said. I laughed. "Will you ever shut up Max?" Danny said obvouisly pissed off.
