A special poem broken love via one special kiss. |
Judas Lips by Keaton Foster In an undeterminable Amount of distance She stands Because of her And all that she has done I am far less of a man The space between us Can never again be bridged Such transgressions Can never hope to be fixed I once lived for her sweetest of kiss But in the darkest of times since I have grown to hate all that she is The things that she willingly did Still hurt so damn much With a smile lent from the devil She easily drew me in The blackness of her soul Infects all that she knows Her name mine as well be pain Her game is total destruction Absolution through obliteration A girl like her will never accept less Once her Judas lips touched mine I was certainly doomed Trust me when I say That kissing her is a terrible mistake A toxic stew of forever brews On the cusp of her soft lips A darkness of excess is hers Once it touches the lips of another They will be sucked into her prison of skin Locked away, they will always remain She will easily move on Because that is what she does She cares nothing for men like us She cares only for the darkness that gives Her the life that she has always wished I would say to feel sorry for her But such feelings would be a waste of time I will only feel sorry for myself And those who refuse this warning Do not fall for the promise of her kiss Because if you do, there will be no salvation From what it means to have tasted her Judas lips… Judas Lips by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012 |
