Sorry

There will be times… random times… during the day….even sometimes in the middle of the night... that she just wants to apologize. She will lay awake in their bed and listen to him breath. She can hear the exhaustion from deep down in his lungs. She moves closer to him and presses her body against his back, taking in the mix of manly odors and for a moment she will want to kiss his neck, grab at his arms and put them around her. His breaths become more shallow and so not to wake him she moves away. She is always moving away. It is just easier that way.

Other times she will look at him from across the room. She will think to herself how he is so handsome. Sometimes if she turns quick enough she will watch his eye checking her out. That always makes her smile.
