I hate your guts
Think me nuts
Call me a POS
Ask what you did
How deserving
Could you ever be
Is such hate justified
Do you mean more
Than the nothing before
Or are you far less
Then you have ever been
Are you as insignificant
As bug on the sidewalk
Or are you as paramount
As a gun in a knife fight
Does what you think
Matter to me at all
Are your words
The god of my logic
Bending my will
And my ways with each reply
Forming my unspoken words
What you say confronts me
When I should not allow it to
The crux of my existence
Is deep inside my heart
The smallest of spark
Ready to ignite an inferno
Burning puppies and kitten
Proverbial ridiculousness
Further fueled by twisted logic
Such things are not flammable
All that is in me
Is left over from the past
Another time when others
Just like you meant something
Beyond the absolute nothing
I have since assigned
It is the only mortal part
Of whom I am
And what I’ve become
I hate your guts
For no other reason
Than for the fact that I
Cannot allow myself to be
Anything remotely like you
Certainly I will pay for such hate
I will ostracize myself from the world
A world that I must live in
A world that I must write about
Life and all of its experiences
To be spread across the page
Out there for people like you
To interpret and then judge
I hate your guts
For nothing that you have done
And everything you plan to do
Such underserving hate
Is simple enough…
