Someone who sees through her but she wouldn't admit, he wouldn't tell.
You are full of colors
Can't say if she cares
Can't tell which is true
She's drawn closer
Like a firefly mistaken the light for a friend
You're beautiful
In a way you wouldn't show
In your eyes
She finds comfort
You linger in her nights
A touch too surreal
A confusing dream to believe in
Does it matter to you
As if she knows it matters to her
For all she knows
You are her escape
To be whoever she wanted to be
To be impossible
To be careless
To be reckless
Yet safer in your own words
Be it lies for the best of her
Or the truth you hide for the best of you
So she lost herself in your thoughts of make believe
And there's no more fear in her
Because she knows better

And I know you know better.
