Poem for my creative writing
These walls speak memories of blissful nights
Swiftly carried by a million kites
They crash land in my mind, now I’m apprehending
That this nightmarish dream is nowhere close to ending.
Memories leaking through my subconscious reality
I’m forced to experience my pain-filled mentality
And just when I thought I lost my mind
In this great fountain of twisted time
I realize my horror fantasy will fade
There is no point to try and evade
I let myself go, let myself die
Only to wake up and see, I’m still alive.
