This is for one of my new heros. |
A gun shot form six miles away Shot from feelings deep inside Tucked, deep in the hollow hearted darkness of brains Will the clouds gather to dampen the smell with clean rain? In Swat, a young hearted, old soul, shouted. No woman deserves ignorance, Give us knowledge, not to be naive. A heart so young, soul so mature, brain so aware. Ideas that make men cower and push them to murder Ideas from a young heart that horrify hollow hearted men, who are slaves to their narrow ideology. A gun shot from six miles away Awoke the minds of the world so wide. A girl, with a sage like soul, nearly slain. Will the clouds gather to wash the streets with clean rain? A land that has been terrorized for too long By hollow hearted men who believe hatred is the answer But cower from a girl, who does nothing but speak of equality A basic right for all to have achieved. These men, who love to hate Who are less then the sands they walk on. And run so fearfully, from the thoughts of a young girl. Don't deserve a future, present, or past. But to be bound by chains and forever forced to listen to the fulfilling lives that they have chosen to deny. A gun shot from six miles away Made the whole of a nation shed tears and cry for humanities child, who now suffers in pain, And waits for the clouds to gather and cleanse her nation with clean rain. |
