In memory of my late Grandmother.
I hope you know I never intended to have too much time for you. I only thought that you had more time left than you did. I pray you’ll treasure the times we did have, just as I will always treasure the words of wisdom you have me before you left forever.

You told me to stay the way I was; to never give into meaningless change at the whims of others. Is that something you regret? Or did I look to be in danger? Or did your wise old eyes see the light in me as darkness began to shroud you? I like to think that was it.

I love you.

I will never change.
