In the mind of a poet.
Falling back upon my thought
my mind turned blank, for there was nothing at all
To help me gain a better grasp
on how to get over this impregnable wall.

That guarded me from my central thoughts
Placed at the tip of my very tongue
As I tried to speak, but said nothing at all
I assumed my voice had become expunged.

With this loss of words, there was nothing left
But to share my opinion through my paper and my pen
Expressing how I felt to the bitter end
my love for poetry agian, and again.
