Blue and still the water strikes.
Quieter the waves whisper.
Throwing sound ripples and foam
over the dunes.
Stillness measurable.
Wildflowers, reaching
the freckles,
shells along curving shores.
Languid entanglement,
the smell of your heart.
Vast ocean,
Gently again
wet strokes the sand.
Repeated breaths
deep under the tide,
in the dark
