A poem that attempts to express the minutes following one's last breath.
12 Lines

My breath has ceased, my life is done,
I'm beckoned by a light; the Holy One.
My soul is now free, suffers no more,
Caught by the Spirit, I begin to soar.

There's light and love, beyond compare,
Music and song, and a constant prayer,
To God the Father, the Spirit and Son,
Enthroned on high, the Holy ones.

Forgiven and healed, no longer flawed,
I join in worship, and praise my God,
For my redemption won, by Jesus His Son.
My soul now home, my battle is done.
