Drowning

Drowning Poem

Sitting in class yet again

pondering how today will turn out

So many things to do

So little time to complete



My mind is becoming an

ocean

Only one week completed of college and everything seems

to drown me deep



The voices and whispers

within one room seem to

take over my mood

into a dull setting



I am feeling trapped

between a wall and

a text book but I am

stronger than this and I will over come this

drowning feeling



But the multiple smells

of perfume and cologne

strangle my nostrils.

The smells are bearable

but not welcomed.
