Halloween Spoof

Dick romped around in his cowboy costume while Jane adjusted her tiara.

“Don’t they look grand in their Halloween costumes?” Mother asked.

“Yes they do, Mother. Remember, kids, no trick or treating after dark,” Father ordered.

“Yes, Father,” Dick and Jane answered.

The door bell chimed and Jane quickly ran to the door.

She opened the door. A short-ugly-green-monster, with menacing red eyes stood on the porch, staring up at Jane.

The monster screamed, “Boo.”

Puff, the cat, ran to the kitchen. Spot, the dog, cowered and hid behind Dick.

The green monster removed its mask; revealing Sally’s face.
