A short, but quite interesting poem about a dear friend that I must face.

Dammit friend
Who are you again
I know the face
But not the name
I see those eyes
But I am unaware
Of your treacherous lies
My ability to read people
To understand their intent
Has always been inept
What to say and how to reply
Without crushing their guise
Has cost me far too much
All of the love I have had
Is no longer mine
All the hope I have wished
Has not come through
Dammit friend
I have played your game
Dangerous in every way
I have suffered much
Far more than is reasonable
My heart is broken
Shattered like a mountain
Upon which the entire
Universe has fallen
In too many pieces
I will never again be as one
Impossible I bleed
Dammit friend
Look what you’ve done
Look at the mess
That you have made
Of me and my life
All that I ever did is care
Until who you are
Became quite unclear
Now I care least of all
I would wish upon you doom
By even I know that such doom
Would carry over to me
Because friend, we
You and I are the same entity
The same exact person
On different parallels of existence
Screwed by our choices
We will both relentlessly suffer
Each other’s hand and thought
Not a moments worth of peace
Will ever be had
Dammit friend
What have you done…
