Boo's Limerick 2012

My Basset Hound lies in the sun,
She's six but she's done that since one.
Her dog chow awaits,
She hastens her gait,
But her legs are too short for a run.

My Basset Hound swallows, then chews.
Three helpings are better than two.
When dividing the cup,
Remember the pup
Needs to keep her pounds down to a few.

My Boo (who is now 9 yrs & 7 1/2 months old) has lost twelve pounds so far since we changed her to a treat diet of green beans, carrots and apple slices in Fall of 2013!
