My Promise To You

It seems as though we have known each other all our lives, sometimes I think you know me better than I know myself. You and I have had our ups and downs, joys and sorrows, together and apart, you have never been far from my thoughts and you've always had my heart, I believe that there is someone out there for everyone and I am happy and grateful that you are my mate. I look forward to all of the joys and disagreements, laughter and the tears. You are the other half of my soul, the beat in my heart. You are my equal. I give you my best, my worst, my all. You allow me to better myself, you encourage me, you don't judge me and you support me no matter what I do. You help me in every way. You let me be a total dork around you and you think I am funny. You are compassionate, understanding and empathetic. I could go on for hours about how I feel and what you mean to me, in short I love you with all of my heart and will honor our union in every way. You give me reason to smile. Now and for the rest of my days.
