A sweet poem about my heart and the drive put on it by my one true love.

Forward
Never backwards
Increasingly
In a straight line
Devoid of force
Freewill applied
Choice exemplified
Heartfelt inertia
Thumping my chest
Love turned into
A physical reaction
The process of living
Even though
Always knowing
That in time
Such a process will end
As do all things that begin
Such poignant things
Drives me further
Harder than before
Loving another is my chore
My solemn duty
I must obey my feelings
And believe in my heart
Driving me to know
Allowing me to show
Reciprocation of ideals
Spent on another loved
A woman that I could
Never get enough of
She is as beautiful as life
As amazing as the sky above
Forever she seems to expand
An all-encompassing being
A supreme ideology
She knows what it takes
And I follow along
Going where she
And my heart leads
The forward motion
Of my being
My heartfelt inertia
Is all because of her
I live to love everything she is
My body is her temple
Inside she finds home
Inside she truly resides
Emotions swell
Like a storm ever wide
Rising up, to the heavens
It will come crashing down
But long before it does
I will have lived a life
By her side
She is mine
And I am hers
Truth in love
Need found purpose
Chances wisely taken
We are as close to one
And any two people
Could ever be
My heartfelt inertia
Drives me forward
Beating in my chest
Pumping out life
Living has never felt
As good as it does
Now that her and I
Have each other…
