This is about what some girls want to become, what they want to see in themselves.
Am I a child who sets off her dreams?
One who takes things as is,
not as they seem.

Am I a teen who is ambitious, talented,
willing to be seen?
One who makes choices,
and allows her thoughts to redeem.

Am I turning into a wise young lady,
as life slowly moves on?
One who matures,
and makes her days accomplished,
and her life full and long.

You see, I am growing.
Becoming someone new.
Soon, as life goes on,
I will not just be one but two.

Am I going to become a great wife,
hopefully a mother of my own?
One who sets goals,
and provides her children's' life to unfold.

Someday, somehow,
I will become someone great.
Someone who is a leader.
Someone who does not hate.

So I ask myself.
Am I capable?
