The book was written on substance abuse and the effects of what can happen if continued use occurs. Circumstances of harm to others and your self. The rights of treatment if you should decide to go this route. Only you can change your life and make it a quality life. Substance abuse is not only heavy drugs it is all routes of addiction and not all are harmful. Some of the addictions that may occur may devastate your life and may even close your casket. My book was not written to harm you nor judge you in any way. It is up to you to change and better your life.
Substance abuse can change your life, your outlook, your personality, your health, and your surroundings. Substance abuse may blind you to what is in front of you and also may become the love of your life. Nothing else will matter to you. The substance abuse has stolen your soul and you have become dependent on the drug. This is a form of soul stealing only thing is it is drugs that has taken you into the darkness.
I had talked to a young man about my book when I was writing "Stolen Soul the Dark Side of Addiction" . He proceeded to tell me a story about his sister. He held back the tears as he spoke, My sister was addicted to heroin and one night she shot up along with her friends. She began to OD her friends robbed her and then ran off so they would not get caught because of heroin use. Four hours later she was sent to emergency where she died. Are these friends you want in your life?
