The beginning of a war? Possibly.
Bullets started to rain down all over the would-be-assassin, forcing him back through the door by sheer intensity of fire.

I wasn't sure if he was hit or not, but I would be amazed if he escaped uninjured. With his enemy retreating, Mike didn't

let up and neither did I. We were both standing now, and returning fire. I fired through the wall surrounding the door,

trying to shoot where I thought he might be. Mike didn't just shoot through the wall, he demolished it. I yelled over

speradic fire from Mike,

"Mike! Move to the door!" I screamed.

"Roger!" he yelled back.

We rushed up to the door(Mike waddled) and stacked up on both sides. I looked him in the eyes and nodded,

mouthing "1, 2, 3 go!" and we both turned the corner of the doorframe (Or what was left of it; Thank you Mike), our weapons

leveled. As I cleared the corner, I saw two bodies on the floor. One was the breaching assassin, who was riddled by

bullets, dead on the ground. The other must have been a back up guy, who had been unlucky enough to be standing behind

Mike's path of lead wrath. He was gut shut, and laying up against the wall, his torso virtical. The most suprising fact

though? He was an Orc. A good sized one too, about 6'6" and built like a weight lifter. He was wearing dark tactical

clothing, and a small backpack. I could tell he had been hit several times in his thighs, and stomach or else he would of

still been in the game. I was personally happy that he wasn't. Me and Mike would have looked at each other and joked about

the situation, but there was no way we were going to take

our eyes off the Orc. I scanned his body, confirming that he didn't have a weapon on him. His primary weapon, which was an

impressive vietnam era M-79 was laying approximatly 4 feet away, shattered and broken from Mikes fire. Once I was satisfied

he wasn't further armed, I knelt down, looking him in the eyes with which he looked boldy back.

"What are you doing here Orc? Come to assassinate me and my friends?" I asked, trying to add a cold tone to my voice. I was

fairly good at it by now.

He shook his head, chuckling slightly and deeply, which seemed to cause him pain. "Not you Vinut. Your friend." I looked at

Six and shrugged.

"Looks like someone has a crush on you." I told Six, my voice serious and grave.

The Orc must have taken offense to my joke because he yelled at me in disgust and anger, "Not you worm! Your woman!" he

said.

I had forgotten all about Ashley, and turned around to see her standing in the doorway, leaning against the pathetic

doorframe. I stood up and looked her over, not entirely in a professional way, and asked

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah... Uhm.. I'm Alright." She said at she put her hand up against her forehead and closed her eyes.

I nodded and turned back towards the Orc.

"What's your name Orc?" Six said.
The Orc raised his chin and replied proudly, "Torkar Entharller"

I nodded and flicked the safety off my .45, looking directly at Torkar.

"Well Torkar, I want you to tell me what your doing here. If you don't tell me, I'm going to have my friend here cut your

right foot off." I said, trying to remain calm and logical.

The threat seemed so bizzare but simple, it took him a second to register it. His face went to a skeptical expression and

he looked down to his foot. At the same time, Six stepped back into the room. Torkar and I looked back at each other for

about 10 seconds before I asked;

"So... Who wants her dead Torkar, and why?" I asked, a sense of ultimatum in my voice.

He wiped his chin of blood that had leaked from his mouth and set his jaw. Then he spit a fair amount of

foul smelling orc blood in my face. It smelled like burnt toast and dirty socks. Six, who had snuck back into the hallway

unnoticed brought a machete swiftly down on the Orcs ankle, severing his right foot. He yelled and howeled from the pain.

"Where-" I was cut off by the sound of a door opening in the hallway. As people started to peak their heads out their

doors, Six and I quickly dragged the dead assassin and moaning Orc back into our room. Ashley walked into the hall and

started saying in a very soothing voice, "Novus animus." It was a spell that meant, 'new mind', She was erasing their

minds. 'Very clever' I thought.

Torkar coughed and groaned in pain. He asked for it. "You asked for it" I told him. "It doesn't have to be like this

though. I want an name, and a place. Then you are free to go." I said in another simple, but steel

tone. He looked more convinced now, and was showing physical signs of debate on his face. To my utter suprise, the red

headed assassin who I had presumed dead started to stur. Six went over to him and chopped off his head with the machete.

'Holy shit.' I thought. 'I like it.' Torkar didn't like that at all. His facial expression turned to utter despair and

surrender. He looked up at Six, then at me.

He looked down. I didn't have time for games. I leveled my pistol and shot him in the left shin, shattering the bone. His

mouth shot open wide in pain, and he fell to his side. "Who and where?" I asked again. Before he had time to think if he

would cooperate or rebel, I shot him in the right knee cap. This time he choked on the pain and then let out an agonizing

groan. He waved his hands for us to stop and I leveled the pistol at his chest. "Tell me." I said.

"Alright.. alright.." He growled, sounding exauhsted and

defeated. "All I know... is GIB wants her dead... Seyyed... Moussod... is the one who... contracted us... Ciaro." He

finished, then slumped further over, seeming done. "Is that all?" I asked, and he nodded, then he looked at me with hatred

in his eyes.

Torkar opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, Six round house kicks him in the face and he goes out cold. "

I was looking at Ashley now, who down the hallway, was casting the last part of her spell, which basically was turning

everyone into vegtables for a period of time. Some people had their cell phones in their hands, probably about to call 911,

but fell under Ashley's spell beforehand.

I stood up and walked over to her, where she started to wobble slightly. "Ashley? I asked, "Are you okay?" She began to

stagger further and I rushed to support her. I

caught her under her arms just as her body went limp. She was covered in a cold sweat, no doubt from sustaining her AE

spell as long as she had. And AE spell is an "Area-Effecting" spell, which one might guess, effects a large, destingated

area. There were people standing in their door ways, some barely dressed. Ashley was still barely concious and completely

exauhsted. I carried her out to the Jeep, and put her in the back. Six and I finished packing our things, and put it all in

the trunk. After Mike and I did our last sweep of our room, we stepped out of the room, and closed the door. 'Thank god

none of these people got hurt' I thought, noticing all the bullet holes in the walls. We started to head down the hallway

when I stopped. An itch began in my memory and was a sign I was forgeting something.

"Wait Six."
He stopped and looked back at me, "What is it bandito?" He said. I looked back down the hall way and the problem instantly

was obvious. Torkar was gone.

"Oh Crap" I said, almost in a whisper. Six heard me and started to ask what was wrong, when he stopped and realized the

same thing. "The Orc is gone Six".
