When The Sun Sets
When The Sun Sets

I keenly gaze at the distant line,
A picturesque scene, a grand design.
Where sailboats race, birds soar —
Eager to meet the pristine shore

I glance, as you wade down the shore
I long for your embrace once more
I rush towards you, not a second to spare
In this sunset, with you, I'll share.

Take a gaze at the distant sea
To where afar your eyes can see
Myriad hues are splattered across the floor
Like colors of love I feel deep down my core.

We found ourselves lying in the sand
Feel each caress of wave in the strand
You and I on top of the world
That in my dreams still lovely to behold.

We found ourselves staring each other
Exchanging silent thoughts together.
Press your ear gently on my chest
Hear its secrets I failed to confess.

When comes dusk where the sun has set
Gently close your eyes and dare not fret.
In our dreams our moment reigns
'Till the morrow our love remains.

When Sunset Whispers, Rewrite

As embers bleed across the western sky,
I trace the line where sun and ocean sigh.
Sails dance like dreams, on waves of gold they ride,
While birds, winged whispers, pierce the crimson tide.

Down sloping sands, a figure comes in sight,
My yearning soul ignited by your light.
With racing pulse, I meet you at the shore,
To share this sunset, and ask for nothing more.

Turn then, beloved, with your eyes of sea,
Where galaxies of love splash endlessly.
A thousand hues ignite the fading air,
Mirroring passions deep beyond compare.

We sink in sand, caressed by ocean's sigh,
The world adrift beneath a painted sky.
Two souls entwined, embraced by twilight's hush,
A haven found, a tender touch to crush.

In silent depths, our gazes interweave,
Secrets whispered on the salty breeze.
Your heart, a drum against my listening ear,
Beats out the story only you can hear.

Dusk dips its brush, and stars begin to gleam,
Yet hold me close, in this fading sunlit dream.
For when night falls, and shadows drape the ground,
Our love will weave through darkness, safe and sound.

Till dawn ignites, this moment we reclaim,
A burning ember whispering your name.
