The Evolution of Power

      You know that genesis is a myth?
      A myth is a story told not for scientific factual truth, but a moral.
      Myths are usually very ancient and therefore respected for their
      longevity.

      Genesis starts with the declaration that in the beginning there was


                                              NOTHING!

      One could argue that the modern chaos theory of something
      coming from nothing could be applied to this statement in genesis;

                "In the beginning there was nothing and then God spoke."

      God came from nothingness. What kind of consciousness can God
      possess? It is primal. God is the first intelligent creator.

      But, is it moral?
      Morality is a set of rules to establish order.
      Does God need rules?
      This is debatable. If God wishes to create something with structure;
      God must abide by rules, but these rules can be cruel and oppressive
      to lesser sentient creatures.

                      The Teleological argument states that complex things
                      require an intelligent designer.
     
        "If I find a watch, there must be a watchmaker." Descartes argument
        for intelligent creation is intuitive.
        What if the watch has always existed?


        Scenario ~    A First Encounter with an Alien Culture.


                There has been a media blitz on the discovery of Atlantis:
                the once believed mythic city described in Homers Iliad.

                Ambassador Hillary Clinton has been in negotiations with
                this underwater city. All communications have been made through
                radio. As of yet, there has been no visual or physical contact.

                The superpowers military arsenal are on alert, but Atlantis is
                too deep to be reached by any known weapon.
                Many, noteworthy scientist have warned that our history has
                proven that peace comes from superior firepower.

                The Atlanteans will send an emissary.
                They are skeptical of Hillary Clinton's offer of autonomy.
                The emissary will be born to a virgin girl impregnated through
                in vitro fertilization and will experience terran life.
                The halfbreed will communicate telepathically with Atlantis
                and be amphibian.
                They have sent sperm to the naval armada over the Great Rift.
                The depressurization is too great for Atlanteans.

                Ambassador Hillary Clinton has called the project:

                                  "A marriage of two worlds."


      How do you understand an alien culture?
      And can all cultures coexist?


      Scenario ~ II The Atlantean sperm is prolific.

                    The volunteers for impregnation are numerous.
                    The virgins selected have multiple births.
                    Their children mature rapidly and are quick to adapt
                    and master their surroundings.
                    Their numbers increase and their influence in the infrastructure
                    of the global community is impressive.
                    These amphibian Atlanteans have access to Atlantis'
                    superior technology.
                    Atlantean culture becomes the dominant culture of the
                    The New World Order.
                    But, it is not democratic and human rights are abolished.
                    Only power is respected.


    Remember there can only be one God.
    And God is all powerful.
    Does power come from kindness or ruthless efficiency?
    The mind of God could be terrifying.
 
                            Moses was warned not to climb Mount Ararat,
                            because that was where God rested and "no man
                            can see the face of God and live."
                            Moses lived to tell his story.

    It is forbidden to climb Mount Ararat to this day.
    Some myths are not forgotten.
