The story of Daedalus and his son, Icarus, in poem form.
Beware all mighty Helios,
upon his fiery steeds.
For should you get too close my son,
you'll be no more indeed.

Dear Icarus be cautious
of the joy this flight will bring.
For if I were to lose you
that would ruin every-thing.

The eagle, he knows caution,
as ruler of sky.
But how could he, just a boy
learn caution on the fly?

Watch out my faithful Icarus,
you're starting to lose sight.
For if you venture too far up,
I dearly fear your plight.

Oh Icarus, oh Icarus my one and only son
how could you be so careless
and thoughtless of the sun?
