Hearts

We all have hearts
To love and to lose
How we care for our other half
Our other heart

They make us go weak in the knees
We can't help but stare
They have burned their face's image into our minds
There is just that-
Quality we love about them
Now and forever

But, do we really know our other half?
Do we know them at all?
To know our other hearts and accept their flaws and reasons
We must know them truly
To know that they are right, truly
We could be wrong
But we could be right

If we do not accept these
How can we go without battles between the two
We will always love our other half, though

I might be wrong about who mine is
But, I will always love him
And I will always hope he accepts me
Reasons and all

For that is our other half
Our other hearts
