To be hated is to be unloved, yet is there a way to feel hatred without someone truly expressing it? If a man speaks with a cold tongue, one may feel hated. Yet if that same man spoke coldly but did so unknowingly, would it still be hatred or would it be innocence. If he has been labeled as cold, then how can someone who speaks worse be considered cool and everyone's friend? Certainly one would not want a friend who treats them like scum. However if if that man has been labeled as innocent, then why do people express such hatred back towards him? Can one mistake not be excused? Maybe people naturally feel hatred and not compassion. Yet are those who show compassion freaks or is the basic emotions lost in translation. Can anyone else ever express kindness, or should hatred be our natural reaction to anything?
