As Evening draws Nigh

As Evening draws Nigh,
the Suns admiring gaze has taken its toll on early blooms.
They hang their heads and their petals droop.

Day draws its final breathe
and the Sun descends from her lofty seat,
preparing for her nightly rest,
as evening blows into place.

Yet, just before the Sun closes her eyes to starry skies,
I unveil my brilliant blooms wishing her a glorious fair the well.
