An account of the courage my baby sister exibited before her death from metastatic cancer.
TAKEN BY THE ANGELS

She was courageous and brave as she waited for death to come
But still showed others compassion and humility
I still sometimes wonder "Did she truly realize..."
"How our sisterly love brought so much joy to me?"

I watched her as she bravely faced each final day
Miraculously finding strength as we laughed at trivial things
And she masked the pain the best that she could
To conceal the unknown fear that cancer devastation brings

OH MY SOUL...! Stop your tortured yearning, longing...
For her presence, to see her smile, to touch her hand
She fought 'THE GOOD FIGHT': She leaned on God' strength
Our Father knew just how much she could stand

As she struggled thru last stages of excruciating pain
She spoke. Each word direct...precise...coherently
"Erma", she said, "At the foot of my bed"
"This morning three angels came for me."

I remember as tho it was just yesterday...
Fun times we had, funny things she would say
I was there in her home when she went with the angels
Those by her bedside watched her slip away

Her spirit came home: I was there and I felt her presence
Again, she shared special love with me
I thank God for the time He let us spend together
And now her time is spent with Him, and the loving Trinity.

(FINAL THOUGHT). As I was documenting this account of my babysister's last days, Judge Mathis
spoke on his TV show about how Steve Job continuosly kept repeating "Oh wow!" before he died.
My take is that he (Steve) saw something beautiful and miraculous as he was leaving this world behind.
