Ode to Love

There's nothing in the world that matters as much to a human being as love.

Love is the reason your heart races every time you see her.

It is the reason you think of so many things you want to say to her, plan the perfect conversation when all you can get out is “hi”.

It’s the reason that when you finally see her, your heart stops, and when you’re close enough for a hug or even a handshake everything in existence comes to an immediate halt.

It's when you know that no matter what hurts you, nothing can hurt as much as being away from her. All the pain, frustration, and confusion just melt away.

All of a sudden she becomes your everything and you know that it would be agony without her face, her smile, her voice.

But the most painful part is watching her with someone else and knowing you will never be together.

Yet seeing her smile makes it all worth the pain. You know that you'd do anything just to make her smile and make her pain just fly away.

No matter whom she’s with or however much I love her, her happiness will end all problems I will ever have.

They will be gone with ONE . . . LITTLE . . . SMILE.
