The Angel's Song

I watch the angel soar above
With white gossamer wings
A pretty sight as she flies by
But then she stops and sings

A melody so sweet to hear,
The listening grass grows green
A happiness that fills your heart
That can't be heard or seen

This moment, oh, so wonderful!
A truly touching sight!
A moment unforgettable
To hear the holy light!

I take a breath and it has stopped
The angel flaps her wings
And then she's gone but I will stay
Until again she sings
