A poem about getting out ones feelings
I blinked,
It all went by in a blur
I think,
Of all that you thought of her
So I'll sink,
Down lower into this depth
Sworn to honesty,
It's time for the story to be heard
And once,
Upon a time
There I was,
Watching you lie,
And I still loved you
Even through the black,
Even as I broke the glass
You were there,
Saving yourself
You didn't care,
All of the worth
I put into
Creating myself
I broke in two
Hating myself
And you blamed it,
All on love
Yes you created it,
All of my love
You said you hated it,
Never to love again
Until you saw me,
Until you met me,
Funny how we can forget
Two united,
But never as one
I always minded,
Who was first to come
It wasn't me,
Or you
Or who you wanted to be
It was the girl,
Of your dreams
Though she's runing to fast
For you to catch
So you slayed it,
All of the love,
To be hated,
Never to grow
And there I left it,
Trying to move
I never did
I never can
I'm stuck in the middle,
Sitting the fence
I still love,
I still hate
I still die,
I feel pain
I never moved,
You moved too fast
And now I lose,
The game we had
Who did I chose?
I never had a side,
What do I do?
When I never cry?
All I can try,
Is to try to move on
Try,
To find a new love
Love?
Is there such a thing anymore?
Anymore?
I think this is cliche
But who cares?
I'm writing it down,
To brave for doubt
When I doubt all I can
I dress my best,
To try and make you see
What you miss
What I miss
Is our friendship,
How easy it was
What I miss is,
How we both didn't care
And then you messed it,
Used and broke
Who I was,
Who I been,
Who I am
So take your path,
Stand your stance
Take a breath,
Don't give me a chance
I'm trying,
To let myself go away
You've won the game
For once I forfeit
But I won't cry,
I won't die,
I'll just laugh and say,
That love,
Is your alibi
