The man. Drenched in waters of shadow.
They separate him
from the rest
of the world.
He sails the sea of misery.
His crew and cargo;
Solitude and Sorrow.
His ship is caught
in a wind still.
Not a gust of wind
to send him forward.
The waves are growing,
no wind is blowing.
They threaten to
tear his ship apart,
piece by piece.
The rain has started,
lightning and thunder
roaring their anger
across the sea.
No wind is blowing.
The rain has stopped,
the mist has fallen.
The thick gray shroud
silences all sound.
No wind is blowing.
He cannot see land,
no light on the horizon.
All he can see
are the stars of above.
A gust of wind
can save him,
but will she come?
He does not know.
Only two ports exist,
one is Hidden,
one is everlasting.
Both attempts to tempt him,
yet only one is tempting.
He takes up the oars,
though he does not
know his course.
He seeks the hidden port.
Because she can save him,
he raises the sail
of his sinking ship
once again.
