Happy places

As soon as I find something that’s perfect and peaceful and pretty and calm
That’s exactly when they come along
And they take it
They break it
And then they try to make it their own

It was mine it was perfect and serene until they come and make me want to scream
They ruin all my happy places but I try to always fill the empty spaces
And life is so crazy
My vision is hazy
I’m going insane
I feel so much pain
I try to go to my happy place
Clear the expression from my face
Think, think, think back to my happy place
But oh no what a disgrace
You’ve popped right in to my special spot
The very same person I almost to forgot

I’m not a puppet and you can’t control me
