My attempt at a mini-series, meet part one (edited)
"Tora has been shot!" screamed the commander next to me while bullets and bombs rained down on our positions. We all looked over to see the body, even though we knew we should keep fighting.

when i looked to Tora's corpse, i noted that the bullet had been professionally placed in the forehead, blood and small pieces of head and even brain matter left in an almost perfect trail of gore strained out behind him.Then, I saw our reinforcements behind us, being shot down one man at a time.

"Shit... we dont stand a chance. Im pulling out!" said our newest private hysterically before he himself took three bullets in the chest on his way up. The bloody mist traveling out his back. I didn't know what the tangos where using, but it was strong.

"Fuck, medic!" I shouted, knowing it was already to late. I couldn't help but wonder, what now? We where pinned down four klicks from point alpha with no way out, bombs dropping and bullets whizzing past our heads. Was it even worth it? Maybe I should give up...

Suddenly, the Sargent shouted,"Hit the deck!" and i heard a bomb go off very close. this one was different, it was...muffled. Then I realized why.

"Ground breaker!" I shouted to all that could hear me. I was to late. Before any of us could even make a move, the ground began to crack around us and I realized our one mistake in choosing this place for cover.It was a hallow ground.

Finally the ground began to break beneath us and the earth trembled. I began to fall and something, to this day I would still swear it was Tora's limp body, hit me and smashed my head into the ground. my vision began to blur as the world darkened around me. Then the ground fell...
