When I was thinking
of you today
tears began falling
down my long face

Long separation
rips me to shreds
my desperation
leads to much dread

Of nights waiting by
my windowpane
pain that I'm feeling
drives me insane

Longing to see you
aches me inside
each day that goes by
Feels like I've died

How much I miss you
tears me apart
how much I need you
breaks down my heart

And yet I stay strong
for both of us
when I hear our song
it is a plus
