        the day you left



The day you left our lives we cried so much,

but we know that you didn't leave as such.

You just flew away to be our guide.

really i know you haven't died.



We may not see you with us today,

but your prescence now thats here to stay.

Smiling within our hearts when we do right,

and telling us through bad times to 'keep up that fight'



That warmth of your hug i wish i could feel,

the feel of that loving touch helping me heal.

Though times get rough you never stray,

helping us through each and every day.



I smile at that last memory of you.

that smile i always knew.

The final wave good bye

it made me smile but now makes me cry.



I walked away with a smile and wave,

yet i now wish i had stayed.

Just that minute longer just to say

I love you and in my heart you'll always stay.



I don't regret that goodbye,

bu ti will not lie.

I regret not going again to see you on that dreadful day

but i guess it was jst fate that made me stay away.



I said see you but not actually goodbye,

see you later is the best words but why?

It's because it means ill see you again,

and next time you will be free from pain.
