This poem was based off of my battle with depression.
The girl inside of me,
is dark and quiet,
black and white,
sleek and swift.

But when you come around,
she screams out,
wanting to be shown.

Oh how the little things,
you seem to do,
bug her more and more,
with each time you come around.

You haunt me,
keeping life a burden,
harder with each mile we go.

I hope one day,
you will go away.
